Theanna Vernon – Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU)

Theanna Vernon is one of the standout student-athletes Brian helped guide during her recruitment journey. As a young athlete, Theanna had already attracted significant attention and had secured a full scholarship offer from Penn State University while still in Grade 10. Recognizing both her exceptional talent and the opportunities available closer to home, Brian worked closely with her and her family to help position her for success in Canada. Theanna ultimately chose to attend Ryerson University, now Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), where she went on to have an outstanding career. During her time at TMU, she played a key role in leading the program to a national championship, and Brian later had the honour of presenting her with the award for Most Valuable Female Athlete at the university. Her journey reflects how thoughtful guidance and the right environment can help exceptional athletes achieve both academic and athletic success.
